GRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES

General Information
In close collaborations with universities, the graduate program at Scientia Terrae Research Institute helps students acquire fundamentals of the discipline and develop skills for conducting independent research through in-depth investigations in one or more of the following fields:

  • Biological control of plant pathogens
  • Biotechnology applications
  • Microbial eco-toxicology
  • Microbial ecology
  • Molecular plant-microbe interactions

  • Plant disease diagnosis, prediction, and control

The unique position of Scientia Terrae Research Institute at the interface between the academic world and the industry enables graduate students to work in close association with companies and towards real-world applications.
It also provides valuable experience in teaching and extension activities in both academic and company environments.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

General Information
Our internship offers students an opportunity to explore several disciplines within agriculture, food production, and environmental health. Interns will conduct independent research projects under the guidance of experienced staff members. Research may involve laboratory and/ or field work depending on the project. Staff members will provide students with unique opportunities to learn techniques of scientific research used to discover and unravel the fascinating world of micro-organisms. Internship status is also appropriate for students actively pursuing a graduate degree at another college or university, and who wish to enrich and/ or tone up their education.

Research Programs
Scientia Terrae Research Institute works with industry organizations, government agencies, and academic partners on projects with careful regard to promoting economic viability and social responsibility. These research projects are all designed to fit in one of the institute's research programs.
